Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety
In addition to injuries sustained in a car accident that resulted in degraded posture, Ben was also experiencing symptoms of anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Ben's treatment resulted in overall physical improvements in body alignment and energy, but more dramatic for him is the complete absence of compulsive obsession, an increase in calmness/peacefulness, mental focus, and even confidence.
In Ben's Words:
I found out about NCR after a car accident when I was 17, but I didn't have the money, support, and transportation to get treated. I had hoped it would slightly reduce my OCD symptoms, my general anxiety and nervousness, would improve my posture, and any improvement to my face would be welcomed. I finally decided to see Dr. Hillary Lampers, and it was by far the best decision I've ever made - far better than LASIK eye surgery, which dramatically improved my vision. NCR improved the entire quality of life and gave me my sanity back.
a) I no longer obsess about everything or try to fix things compulsively (like constantly pushing thoughts out of my head, which would sometimes keep me up entire nights). In fact, I don't obsess anymore at all.
b) I feel MUCH calmer, even peaceful, and I relax when I would normally become bored, restless and anxious.
c) My thoughts are more focused; I have an easier time concentrating.
d) My confidence level is much higher; I basically feel more in touch with people and life.
a) My posture looks and feels much better than it used to, and this is something almost all of my friends have noticed.
b) I used to go to sleep every night with mild to moderate upper back pain due to my hunchback posture - the pain is all but completely eliminated.
c) My shoulders are rolled back which allows them to fully move - their movement was restricted during swimming, weight lifting and other activities.
d) I'm more muscular now and I've worked out less; my chest seems to have gotten wider (possibly due to my improved posture).
e) The bones in my skull are significantly less deformed and abnormally shaped (the top of my skull used to bulge out quite a lot), my face is wider, rounded and more symmetrical; my nose is straightened; my ears are up higher on my skull; my face isn't as long.
Needless to say, I'll be going back for a second session! This technique is highly underrated, and understated by even the NCR doctors themselves, and not nearly mainstream enough. It should be a crime against humanity that this procedure isn't known throughout every hospital in the world. It's THAT good!
